Ganesha’s name is always taken before any other god’s name. Be it buying a new house or starting a new business invoking the elephant-headed god’s name is a prerequisite.
Even in Vaastu Shastra, it is suggested to keep a Ganesha idol at home. Accordingly, Ganesha idol/ hanging should be installed at the entrance of the house as it is suppose to bring prosperity to the house and its inmates.
This beautiful Vastu Ganesha is carved out of sacred Shriparni wood.

About shriparni wood :- Shriparni in Gujarati is called Sevan, in Hindi Khumar, in Sanskrit is called Shriparni and in Marathi Shivan. Shriparni is as pure & ancient as Tulsi and Peepal tree. In ancient Puranas it is told that in Shriparni trees there is presence of Laxmiji. Shreeparni is the favourite tree planted by people in their home. After they have planted Shriparni tree & after doing regular prayer of it many families have got a lot of benefits from it. But, if any impure thing touches the tree then Shriparni tree dies. It is also true. It is good to do regular prayer of Shriparni tree. In comparison to all other trees Shriparni tree grows fast. The leaves which are withered are replaced by new leaves very quickly. In Ayurveda it is believed that this Shriparni tree has the capacity to absorb pollution. It also generates positive energy.
