Sanskrit Hymn Shri Lakshmi Narayan Kavacham (Armor of Shri Vishnu & Maa Lakshmi ) is mentioned in Shri Bhagavatha Purana. Lord Vishnu is vouched as the eternal spirit of all living beings. ‘Vishnu’ actually means the one who is omnipresent and that’s the reason that Lord Vishnu is the indigenous reality of the universe. As mentioned above, the Hindu trinity personifies lord Vishnu as the preserver of life. A reason that he is peace loving and very calm! Shown in divine and calming blue color with four arms, Lord Vishnu is the god of truth and peace. He is known to bless his followers with hope, unity and contentment. It is said that by worshiping Lord Vishnu with dedication and devotion, he saves the devotees from all evil and negative forces.
Sri Vishnu’s wife is Goddess Lakshmi – the goddess of wealth, prosperity and success. She is said to bestow her blessings in the form of fulfillment, good luck and fortune on the devotees. Goddess Lakshmi is also known as Shree because she has six unmatched attributes and also because she is believed to be the strength of Lord Vishnu.
Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu have a very close-knit and loving relation. They both complement each other very well and become each other’s strength. Chanting of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Kavacham provides peace of mind, protection as well as prosperity. Your life will be a heaven on earth when you are power packed with the grace of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Lord Vishnu’s energy will protect you against all the dangers and gift you with courage, confidence and success; Goddess Lakshmi’s energy will encircle you with positivity and bless you with wealth, happiness, money gains and luxuries.
