Description

Shree or Shri (श्री) is the sacred sound of cosmic auspiciousness and abundance in Hindu religion. Written as Sri or Shree or Sree or Shri, it stands for abundance, auspiciousness, affluence, grace, wealth, light, luster, splendor, beauty, loveliness and authority. The symbol has been used since Vedic times. Holiness is attached to the word when written or spoken. Shree or Shri is also added before a name to show respect. After the symbol ‘Aum’ (ॐ) and Swastika, Shree is the most popular symbol used in Hinduism. Shree is also the sacred symbol of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity. The symbol is therefore written a top of ledgers and documents.

If 'OM' is spiritual, Shree is both spiritual and materialistic.

The symbol has been carved from Auspicious Shriparni wood and can be kept in temple, altar, cash box, locker or almirah. This auspicious Shree symbol can also be pasted on both sides of main entry door, temple door, cash box door, ledger and any auspicious place using double side tape or any good quality glue.

About Shriparni wood :- Shriparni in Gujarati is called Sevan, in Hindi Khumar, in Sanskrit is called Shriparni and in Marathi Shivan. Shriparni is as pure & ancient as Tulsi and Peepal tree. In ancient Puranas it is told that in Shriparni trees there is presence of Laxmiji. Shreeparni is the favourite tree planted by people in their home. After they have planted Shriparni tree & after doing regular prayer of it many families have got a lot of benefits from it. But, if any impure thing touches the tree then Shriparni tree dies. It is also true. It is good to do regular prayer of Shriparni tree. In comparison to all other trees Shriparni tree grows fast. The leaves which are withered are replaced by new leaves very quickly. In Ayurveda it is believed that this Shriparni tree has the capacity to absorb pollution. It also generates positive energy.
