Sukh Karta Dukh Harta is famous Ganapati Aarti sung in a melodious rhythm indulges one to praise the deeds of the lord. The Ganesha aarti is a popular Hindu devotional song dedicated to Sri Ganpati. Lord Ganesha is also called Vighneshwara because he is believed to be the remover of impediments. As per available information " Sukh karta dukh harta " was written by Swami Ramdas the great guru of Shivaji in the 1640's. 'Sukh Karta, Dukh Harta' refers to Him as the one who takes away all pains and sorrows from our lives and in return blesses us with love and happiness. This Aarti, written in Marathi is a vital part of all Hindu Maharashtrian rituals.
सुखकर्ता दुःखहर्ता वार्ता विघ्नाची ।
नुरवी पुरवी प्रेम कृपा जयाची ॥
सर्वांगी सुंदर उटि शेंदुराची ।
कंठी झळके माळ मुक्ताफळांची ॥१॥
जय देव जय देव जय मंगलमूर्ती ।
दर्शनमात्रे मनकामना पुरती ॥ध्रु०॥
रत्नखचित फरा तुज गौरीकुमरा ।
चंदनाची उटी कुंकुमकेशरा ॥
हिरेजडीत मुकुुट शोभतो बरा ।
रुणझुणती नूपरें चरणीं घागरिया ॥ जय० ॥२॥
माथा मुकुट मणी कानी कुंडले ।
सोंड दोंदावरी शेंदुर चर्चिले ।।
नागबंद सोंड-दोंद मिराविले ।
विश्वरूप तया मोरयाचे देखिले ॥ जय० ॥३॥
चतुर्भुज गणराज बाही बाहुटे ।
खाजयाचे लाडू करुनी गोमटे ।।
सुवर्णाचे ताटी शर्करा घृत ।
अर्पी तो गणराज विघ्ने वारीतो ॥ जय० ॥४॥
छत्रे चामरे तुजला मिरविती ।
उंदीराचे वाहन तुजला गणपती ।।
ऐसा तु कलीयुगी सकळीक पाहसी ।
आनंदे भक्तासी प्रसन्न होसी ॥ जय० ॥५॥
ता ता धि मि किट धि मि किट नाचे गणपती ।
ईश्वर पार्वती कौतुक पाहती ।।
ताल मृदंग वीणा घोर उमटती ।
त्यांचे छंदे करुनी नाचे गणपती ॥ जय० ॥६॥
लंबोदर पीतांबर फणिवरबंधना ।
सरळ सोंड वक्रतुंड त्रिनयना ॥
दास रामाचा वाट पाहे सदना ।
संकटीं पावावें निर्वाणीं रक्षावें सुरवर वंदना
॥ जय ० ॥ ७ ॥
