This is Small sized Gaumukh (Cow shaped) Kamandal made up of pure copper. Crafted well highly strudy, this kamadal has a spout in the design of a Cow and a strong handle with a lid that works very well for religious and multi-purposes. Made of copper, it has a beautiful sheen to it. Kamandalu, kamandal or kamandalam is an oblong water pot usually with a handle. Hindu Sadhus and yogis often use it for storing Holy water .The water-filled kamandal, which is invariably carried by ascetics, is stated to represent a simple and self-contained life.
