Shri Ganesha Mangalashtakam is one of the powerful prayer dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Shri Ganesha Mangalashtakam means The Mangala Octet of Ganesha. Mangala stotras are normally recited at the end of reciting several stotras or the end of singing several songs or at the end of an auspicious function. The devotee wishes auspiciousness to the Lord. Mangalam may also mean good wishes or wishes for a happy ending. He who reads Shri Ganesha Mangalashtakam with devotion, Which causes good, Would without effort remove all obstacles in his way. The recitation of the Shri Ganesha Mangalashtakam also brings happiness in the life of the worshippers and their families. Moreover it helps a person to attain success in their work and removes all hindrances and obstructions from their way.

इभवक्त्राय चंद्रादिवन्दिताय चिदात्मने!
ईशान प्रेमपात्राय चेष्टादायास्तु मंगलम!!३!!
सुमुखाय सुशुन्डाग्रोक्षिप्तामृत घटाय च!
सुखरींदनिवे व्यय सुखदायास्तु मंगलम!!४!!
चतुर्भुजाय चन्द्राय विलसन्मस्तकाय च!
चरणावनतानन्ततारणायास्तु मंगलम!!५!!
वक्रतुण्डाय वटवे वन्धाय वरदाय च!
विरूपाक्षसुतायास्तु विघ्ननाशाय मंगलम!!६!!
प्रमोदामोदरूपाय सिद्धिविज्ञानरुपिणे !
प्रकृष्टपापनाशाय फलदायास्तु मंगलम!!७!!
मंगलं गणनाथाय मंगलं हरसूनवे !
मंगलं विघ्नराजाय विघ्न हत्रेंस्तु मंगलम!!८!!
श्लोकाष्टकमि पुण्यं मंगलप्रदमादरात !
पठितव्यं प्रयत्नेन सर्वविघ्ननिवृत्तये !!९!!
