A thousand year old magic square called "Chautisa Yantra" is located at the Parshvanath Jain temple in Khajuraho, India. Chautisa means 34, this magic square sums up to 34, and hence the name.It dates from the 10th century.It is known as Chautisa yantra.All the rows, columns, diagonals and corners of squares and rectangles add up to 34 (Chautis).
