Baglamuki is one amongst the DasMahavidyas (Ten Goddesses) and is worshipped for power and victory. Her worship is also effective in warding off evil persons, spirits and Yakshani. Baglamukhi is identified with the second night of courage and is the power or Shakti of cruelty. She is described as the Devi with three eyes, wearing yellow clothes and gems, moon as her diadem, wearing champaka blossoms, with one hand holding the tongue of an enemy and with the left hand spiking him, thus should you meditate on the paralyser of the three worlds. Seated on the right of Bagala is the Maharudra, with one face, who dissolves the universe. Bagalamukhi means ""The Crane-Headed One"". This bird is thought of as the essence of deceit. She rules magic for the suppression of an enemy's gossip. She rules deceit which is at the heart of most speech. She can in this sense be considered as a terrible or Bhairavi form of Matrika Devi, the mother of all speech. Baglamukhi chowki is the residence of Maa Baglamukhi. Baglamukhi chowki is very powerful and useful for victory over enemies, law suits, success in quarrels and competitions. The presiding deity goddess Baglamukhi is the controller of this powerful chowki which charges the chowki with occult forces.
This Raksha Kawach Chowki contains Pyramid surrounded by 4 tridents (Trishools). Trishool is considered a divine weapon in Hindu mythology. On this chowki there is a pyramid. On this pyramid you shall see image of Baglamukhi goddess, beesa Yantra & Baglamukhi Yantra etc. Beesa Yantra, Trishool & goddess Baglamukhi all are well known for their protective powers. All these powers work together to surround the devotee with a solid armour (kawach). Therefore it is rightly named as Baglamukhi Raksha Kawach. It should be worshipped if one becomes victim of enemies, or legal problems. It is very effective to ward off the evil effects of souls and yakshani and also to get success in gambling.
