Sri Batuk Bhairav is Small (child) form of Bhairav Nath which is one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva . Batuk Bharav is the most worshipped form of Bhairav in tantra.The ancient text Shakti Sangam Tantra in its Kali Khand chapter has mentioned the origin of Sri Batuk Bhairava. According to the text, once a demon named Aapat had gained powers through Sadhanas and he used it to harass everyone including the gods. The gods then got together and started to think of ways to find a solution to this problem. As they started concentrating, their powers appeared as a flash of light and took the form of a five year old child, Batuk. The child, then, killed the demon and saved the gods which is why he is known as Aapat Uddharak Batuk Bhairav. In tantra and other Hindu puja, this is the most worshiped form of Sri Bhairav among the various forms of Bhairavar. All other forms of Bhairav are terrifying apart from this as this is in the form of a child.

Sri Batuk Bhairav protects, removes all obstacles, cleans the soul with his sheer intensity and makes things favourable for a sadhak. Batuk Bhairav yantra is said to bring good fortune and the fulfillment of any desires. Batuk Bhairav yantra is used for improving impoverished conditions of life. The worship is only to be done at night, for fulfillment of a specific desire.

Sri Batuk Bhairav yantra Puja Vidhi (Sadhana) :-

After taking a bath,sit on a piece of woollen cloth facing east or north in a separate room or at any suitable place. Close your eyes and concentrate on Sri Batuk Bhairava. Keep Sri Batuk Bhairav Yantra in front of you and offer Coconut, Flowers, Sindoor, Mustard oil, black til etc and do its mantra. (Some offer liquor but we don't advice this as it is a Vamachara Paddhathi and must be done for some very pure purpose with Guru guidance only)

During the mantra sadhana it is essential to eat only once a day, observe celebacy and sleep only on the ground.

Sri Batuk Bhairav has the power to fulfill the desires of the person who has full faith in him. Bow to god Batuk Bhairva and pray to him to remove your troubles (the devotee can relate the particular problem which he is facing ) and to fulfill all desires and give him success in work. After this prayer ,chant any of below given Mantra everyday for at least 108 times (one mala ).This routine of Jap should be continued for at least three months or till your problem is solved or your desires are fulfilled. For better result 125000 Japas should be done.

When the Japa (chanting of mantras) is over, do not leave the place immediately. For some time sit very quietly.Close your eyes and reflect upon the infinitive love of Sri Batuk Bhairava. Have a feeling in your mind that god Batuk Bhairva has accepted your prayer.He is pouring his blessings upon you. By the grace of god Batuk Bhairva all your problems and obstacles will soon vanish.You will enjoy happiness.You have been blessed with good luck and prosperity.

After it,fold your hands and pay your respects to god Batuk Bhairva and leave the place of Puja.
