The word Navgraha is a combination of two words 'Nav' meaning nine and 'Graha' meaning nine celestial planets. These are the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn, and the ascending and descending lunar nodes, respectively known as Rahu and Ketu. According to Vedic astrology, a human life is governed and influenced by the universal vibrations and positioning of the nine planets.
